Dana Schachter

Dana Greenbaum Dana Schachter LMT/RYT views yoga as an attitude of mindfulness that we begin to cultivate on our mats and allow to blossom in our daily lives. Dana’s classes aim to ignite a deeper connection to self, to community, and to the world.  Dana’s journey with yoga began in 1998 while obtaining her certification in massage therapy. Over the following years her passion and devotion to the practice of yoga grew. A desire to deepen her understanding as well as encouragement from others to share these gifts led Dana to pursue more serious studies. In 2002, she completed a 250-hour teacher training in Hatha Vinyasa. Dana savored her first taste of Anusara yoga in 2004 and dedicated herself to this system, obtaining her Anusara Certification in 2010.  She credits Sianna Sherman as one of her most influential teachers who she has trained extensively with as well as assisted. She also sources inspiration from Abby Tucker, Douglas Brooks, and Desiree Rumbaugh… as well as her most influential teacher to date, her daughter. In addition to her Hatha yoga classes Dana also teaches Prenatal yoga, supporting pregnant women in their fertile time of transformation. In her pursuits of the healing arts through yoga and massage therapy, she hopes to assist others in accessing the wisdom that lies within.
