Poetic, heartfelt, and a “reformed” relaxer, Melissa Felsenstein pours inspiration and stillness into her teachings, using her expertise of yoga and sound therapy combined with her passion of music, yogic philosophy, and prose to create a sanctuary of quiet.
Through the use of live sound with quartz crystal singing bowls and specially tuned gongs, expect to indulge in deep, conscious relaxation as you explore meditative like states induced by these unique instruments. Having used sound and yoga therapy to end her own personal struggle with anxiety and depression, Melissa is drawn to help others achieve a more balanced and joyful life through her sound events, classes, and private sessions.
Melissa Felsenstein is a certified 700 hr yoga therapist through Loyola Marymount University Yoga Therapy Program, a certified restorative teacher, and has studied anatomy, yoga nidra, chanting, and much more. Melissa’s mission is to restore the value of slowness, cultivate meaningful rest and shorten the distance between ourselves and our truth. Learn more at innersoundsyoga.com
