Sianna Sherman Sianna is an internationally recognized Anusara Yoga teacher who first discovered yoga in 1989 when coming across a book that described the powers of the subconscious mind. With a completely ignited heart, she radically changed her life and began to seek teachers of meditation, asana and empowered awakening. Her journey turned in myriad directions, each a salutation to the immense gift of consciousness. She studied with many great beings who helped her along the way. Some of her studies included: herbalism, naturopathic medicine, shamanism, swedish and thai massage therapies, ayurveda, ritualistic priestess medicine, yoga, Tantric philosophy and meditation. In 1995 she had the great blessing of meeting her primary mentor John Friend and has studied with him extensively ever since their first auspicious meeting. She also studies closely with 2 renowned Tantric scholars, Dr. Douglas Brooks and Dr. Paul Muller-Ortega. Kenny Graham's has completed three Anusara teacher trainings, the first under the direction of Noah maze, Sue Elkind and Naime Jezzeny at City Yoga of Los Angeles and the last two under the guidance of Anusara's founder John Friend.Currently, Kenny is assisting Senior Certified teacher Sianna Sherman on a national and international level and recently traveled to Europe with John Friend on his 2005 European workshop tour.Kenny continues to study and teach in the style of Anusara Yoga© and is moving towards certification this year. He teaches public classes, workshops and retreats in the Bay area and beyond. His passion is to help students discover their own potential and to find the treasures within the ocean of their own consciousness.
Katchie Ananda Katchie is an internationally recognized, certified Anusara yoga teacher whose leadership in yoga and social change prompted Yoga Journal to name her one of five top yoga teachers making change in the world and East Bay Express to name her 2008 "Best Yoga Teacher". A former dancer in Switzerland and Brazil, Katchie has almost 20 years of experience as a full-time yoga teacher, trainer and workshop/program developer. She was also certified in Jivamukti and Integral yoga, as well as extensively trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa under Richard Freeman.
