Saturday 11am – 1pm: Shoulder Opening Love Fest
Most of us think we have tight shoulders, but what we really have are tight chest muscles from hunching over in our daily movements. Flow through a vibrant fusion of gradual, loving chest-opening poses and vinyasas designed to unlock the full range of motion in the shoulder and bring more flexibility and strength to your chest and upper body. Walk away with brand-new tools to approach inversions, backbends, healthy posture, and a state of ease when you need it most.
Saturday 2pm-4pm: It’s All About the Pelvis
Breathe new life into your lower body with a deeper understanding of your hips, pelvis and lower back. Together we’ll discover the asymmetries in our bodies so we can work asymmetrically (the rest of the weekend and beyond) to find harmony, freedom, and ease in your practice. Through a delicious spectrum of hip-oriented poses modified for therapeutic relief and benefit, leave feeling strong, open, uplifted, and unstoppable. Perfect if you need a more therapeutic and gentler but totally fortifying practice.
Sunday 11am-1pm: Set Yourself Free: The Psoas and You, Unleashed.
The psoas muscle is a big deal in yoga - it connects your legs to your spine! A portal to deep flexibility, power, and grace in your practice, this is one muscle you’ll want to get to know well to sustain a long-term practice and gain more freedom in your body as you age. After an enthusiastic anatomical overview of the psoas, Amy will help you align your psoas effectively in a variety of poses. Walk away feeling taller, lighter, stronger and that anything's possible..
Sunday 2pm-4pm: Simply Irresistible: Hamstrings, Hips, and Lower Back
Breathe new life into your lower body with a delightful array of hamstring, hip, and lower back poses tailored for therapeutic relief and advantage. Perfect if you want more space and freedom in your lower body so you can shine more brightly. Walk away feeling revitalized, energized, and with a greater sense of ease.
