HOW THE BANDHAS CAN DEEPEN YOUR PRACTICE WITH NOAH MAZE

(IN-STUDIO + ONLINE) Saturday, September 30, 2023 11:00 AM  4:00 PM

Learn to Stabilize and Purify all Levels of the Body and Mind with Noah Maze

In-Studio + Online (Recordings available if you can’t make event)

These sessions explore understandings and embodied experiences of the three bandhas, the deep engagements of the physical and subtle bodies, including mula-bandha (the “root lock”), uddiyana-bandha (the “navel lock”), and jalandhara-bandha (the “throat lock”). We will approach and unpack these concepts as stabilizing actions that support us in functional movement, both on and off the mat, and explore different philosophical understandings and practices regarding the three bandhas.

Strong to the Core: All Levels Asana Workshop. 11:00am-1:00pm PDT

This all levels yoga workshop takes you on a journey of engaging the bandhas as deep core activation, stabilization, and overall core strengthening. Expect detailed instruction, anatomical explanations, specific muscular activations, lots of strengthening drills, and a 360 degree approach to core stabilization and strengthening in progressive sequencing towards arm balance peak poses. Designed for all levels of yoga students

Yoga of Subtle Connection: Yoga Study and Practice 2:00pm-4:00pm PDT

This deep dive session explores the history, philosophical understandings, and practices related to the bandhas, as well as their broader context in Tantric traditions of subtle body practice (kundalini theory, chakras etc.). Through explanation, conversation, embodied experience, breath practices, and contemplation, we will deepen and enrich our understanding of these important practices as students of yoga history, and as practitioners (and teachers) of modern yoga. Designed for Yoga teachers and those practitioners who want to explore yogic practices more deeply

Both workshops $70 / One workshop $40

Please be sure to select the option you want: in-person or online.
